Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Rivetbook, an invoicing app provided by WorkersLab LLC (“Rivetbook”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Rivetbook helps tradespeople create, send, and manage invoices, including voice capture, photos, and PDF generation. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

Rivetbook creates an account on your device when you first open the app. You may add an email address to secure and recover your account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your devices secure. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract to use Rivetbook.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Rivetbook, for example, by using it unlawfully, to send fraudulent invoices, to infringe others’ rights, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

4. Your content is yours

Your invoices, customers, business details, and other content remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, process, and display that content to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for having the right to use any content you upload.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Rivetbook may offer a paid “Pro” plan. Where offered, subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, are charged to your store account, and renew automatically until cancelled. You manage, cancel, or restore a subscription through your store account, subject to the store’s terms. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.

6. Rivetbook is not tax, accounting, or legal advice

Rivetbook is a tool to help you create invoices. It does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legal validity of the invoices you issue, for charging the correct taxes, and for meeting your own record-keeping and tax obligations. If you are unsure, consult a qualified professional.

7. Availability & “as is”

We work hard to keep Rivetbook reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section limits or excludes any statutory guarantee or right you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorkersLab LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Rivetbook. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

9. Termination

You may stop using Rivetbook and delete your account at any time from the app or at rivetbook.com/data-deletion. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. Some invoice records are retained after deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of the protections of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and you may bring claims in the courts of that country where the law allows.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Rivetbook evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Rivetbook after a change means you accept the updated terms.
